Yui’s Plans for an Outing With Friends

Sharp-eyed Yui Chiranan plans for fun with friends this new year, but before she can do that she’ll have to wait for production to end on her lakorns.

“My plans for the new year are, when production ends on “Pah Loke Bunterng” and “Porb Pee Fah” which should be sometime around January, to go re-charge my battery.  I’m planning a trip with my friends from Speed-One including Aou Panu, Miang Atima & others for an all out shopping trip to Hong Kong.”

“For this new years I really want good things to come my way.  The first thing I want is for my family to be happy.  I want my grandmother and mom to be in good health, for myself also so I’ll have the strength to keep working.  If I have to work a lot but my health isn’t strong it’s not going to work out.”

Yui & Aum Patchrapa Back On Screen Together

Aum & Yui in Kom Payabaht

Aum & Yui in Kom Payabaht

According to Khaosod Newspaper, Yui and Aum Patchrapa are set to star with each other in the upcoming lakorn “Prajun Lai Payak.” Yui says that the girls will play as best friends who also happen to be police officers. However, something happens that causes one of them to drift over to the dark side and the two end up as enemies.

I’m really excited to see Yui & Aum co-starring with each other again. The first time was for Yui’s first lakorn “Kom Payabaht” where Aum took on the role as the evil Pia. The second time was in “Jit Sung Harn” where Yui played the 2nd couple to Aum & Poh Nattawut. The third time they barely had scenes together since Yui guest starred in “Fah Mai” as a potential love interest for Poh. This lakorn would be the 4th time the girls met up.

Let’s hope these rumors are true, no word yet as to who the p’ek will be.

The cold weather usually brings loved ones together but Yui Chiranan has to go film “Porb Pee Fah” at Salaya Studios while sweetheart Pid Bodyslam is on tour across Thailand; they haven’t seen each other for about a month already.

“We’ve barely had time to see each other. He’s been on tour for half a month now, for New Years Eve he’s on tour with M150.”

You’re not going to give him support?
“I’m always busy filming lakorns.”

Since you’re apart, do you miss him?
“I’m also worried about him since I just recovered from a cold. Before this he was sick in the hospital, I was out of the city so I couldn’t go take care of him.”

With 2008 coming to an end in a few weeks so let’s talk about the ratings for this year. Yui has 3 lakorns this year, “Nang Tard,” a role that led her to win the Asian TV Awards 2008 for Best Actress, “Satroo Koo Kwan” and lastly, “Pah Loke Bunterng” which is currently on air.

For Nang Tard, the remake lakorn that pulled in many talented actresses such as Pok Piyatida in the role of Khun Ying Yaem, Kob Suvanant as the title character of E-Yen, and May Bunthita as Boonmee. Although ratings weren’t as high as expected for this remake, it did however garner enough to have an overall average rating of 12, estimated around 7,565,000 viewers.

Satroo Koo Kwan

Satroo Koo Kwan didn’t do too poorly either even with new p’ek Ouan Rangsit. Som Thansinee did an amazing job in her role as the nang rai. The best part of the lakorn has to definitely been the two kids that played as Noon Na & Pla Gud. Average rating for this lakorn was a 12, approximated to be around 7,336,000 viewers.

Pah Loke Bunterng

Pah Loke Bunterng

As for Pah Loke Bunterng that is currently airing, it’s going above 10 and seems to be keeping that way. We’ll have to wait next year to see how many viewers this lakorn pulls in.

Overall, it was a great year for Yui. She pulled in 10+ ratings for all her lakorns, nabbed the Best Actress Award and finally finished her studies at Ramkhamheng University. What will 2009 hold for her? We have Porb Pee Fah, another remake to look forward to, and possibly more.
