Oh happiness!!! Someone has uploaded a teaser, but I don’t think it’s airing yet. Channel 7 hasn’t bought the lakorn yet and until then we won’t be seeing it. Yui looks so lovely though, I’m kinda disappointed the teaser focuses so much on Joy’s character.

Joy Sirilak Versus Yui Jiranan: Not Afraid of Comparison
Not only is her role in “Koom Pah Kham” very complex, but Joy Sirilak has to show her skills against Yui Jiranan also. We got the chance to meet with her so we asked her about the lakorn.
“This lakorn is quite heavy and strenuous because my character is very complex. I have a flaw in me, that makes me a bit mental at times so I have to set up my emotions accordingly. This lakorn is a mystery so there’s no telling that from the beginning, which makes it hard.”
You’re acting with Yui, are you afraid people might compare skills?
“It’s good, then they’ll be able to follow who shines more. If it’s a plus for the lakorn, I want viewers to see it regardless of their reasons. If they’re talking about it then that means they’re watching it. Whether they like it or not is a different story. I have to do my job to the best of my ability. Because no matter how crucial the role is, if I can’t perform and make the viewers like it, if I’m not into the role then how can I expect the viewers to be into it also.”
This is your first prime time lakorn for Channel 7, are you afraid of ratings?
“It’s not my job to worry about ratings. I think ratings aren’t just up to me because we work as a team. But if it’s a issue that people want to talk about then I thank them because they are interested in the lakorn. As for being evening or prime time, it’s not something new to me. When I was at Channel 3, at first I played in both. It probably got more news now.”

Paul Indicates “Koom Pah Kham” is Complex
The storyline of Koom Pah Kham is complex but Paul is confident of the director’s skills.
“In the story there’s Yui Jiranan and Joy Sirilak. I play a police officer who is grieving over his younger brother’s mysterious suicide so I quit my job. Before I left I got a big case to finish, that involved the death of my brother’s girlfriend.”
“The reason I chose to play this role was because after reading the summary it was very exciting and the role was good. Also, I got to work with Toob Sitiwat Tupphen who directed Mia Luang which made it better. I worked with him before and he gives very good direction to the actors. This lakorn has a great deal of complexity which I’m sure that P’Toob is able to make it work.”
“As for the actors, I’ve co-starred with Joy in Rachinee Morlum before and she’s okay. As for Yui, I’ve never worked with her before but she has skills.”

Joy Slaps Mo Until She Screams in “Koom Pah Kham”
It seems as if Joy Sirilak and Mo Amina are always in a scene where they hit each other. Thus making the two able to pass through the scene without a take in the period lakorn “Koom Pah Kham” from Media of Medias.

Rumors of Two New Lakorns for Yui
Rumors have it that aside from Suay Saeb Sing and Prajun Lai Payak, Yui has two new lakorns lined up.
The first is with the action company Bangkok Audio Vision, who Yui has worked with on previous projects such as Fon Neua, Choom Pae and more recently, Pah Loke Bunterng. This lakorn entitled “Jao Mae Laan Tay” will have Yui not only doing action but singing in a type of likay way also. Ah’Chalong Pakdeewichit, the director, plans to also cast Vee Veeraparb and Eak Rungsiroj in this flick. Nothing is 100% confirmed yet, so we’ll have to keep our eyes open.
The second seems to be a big production lakorn entitled “Koom Pah Kham.” No definite word yet on the production company rumors have it that Media of Medias is producing this lakorn, sources from OHO magazine state that Yui is being paired up with Paul Pattarapon for the first time. Along with Joy Sirilak who will take on the role as the antagonist. This also has yet to be 100% confirmed so I’ll keep you posted on further developments.
